Cruise Highlights Bon Vivant takes the guests along the wine country of France in style, grace and with superb French cuisine. Eight guests are accommodated in four comfortable staterooms, all with private baths. On the main deck is a salon with a state-of-the-art sound system, a library and formal dining area. From the spacious sun deck the panorama unfolds while enjoying the sun drenched whirlpool or relaxing beneath a sun umbrella. This gentle change of pace captures time, beauty, and memories to last a lifetime. |

Itinerary Day 01 Transfer from Paris to your barge, in Nevers. Cruise in the afternoon and "Welcome Cocktail". Day 02 Cruise from Nevers to Cours Les Barres, passing the Canal Bridge at "Le Guetin" over the Allier River. Day 03 Cruise from Cours Les Barres to La Chapelle Molinard. Visit La Charite Sur Loire, an important site of Burgundian Romanesque art, and a renowned stop along the trails to Santiago de Compostella. Visit the Cellier du Gout center, the discovery of flavors through tasting and exhibitions. Wine tasting at Pouilly Sur Loire, overlooking its beautiful Chateau. Day 04 Cruise from La Chapelle Molinard to St. Satur, at the foot of Sancerre. Visit Sancerre and admire the magnificent panoramic view over the Loire Valley, have a wine tasting at Chavignot, also famous for its goat cheese (visit of a goat cheese farm will follow the wine tasting). Day 05 Cruise from St. Satur to Belleville Sur Loire. Visit Cosne Sur Loire and its museum of the Loire. Visit the Chateau de Biancafort, the Chateau de St. Fargeau, and the pottery art at St. Armand en Puisaye. Day 06 Cruise from Belleville to Briare, passing the world famous aqueduct built by Mr. Eiffel, designer of the Eiffel Tower. Shop at Gien for the world famous faience then visit the Chateau de Gien, dedicated to hunting. Visit of the Chateau de La Bussiere will follow, with its splendid gardens and private collections dedicated to fishermen. Day 07 Return to Paris |
